The quickest arrival point is from the Lisbon airport.
The most economic way is by Bus. (In this case you need to take a taxi to the "Rodoviária" {bus station} to Sete Rios, near the Lisbon Zoo (cost approx. 10€). From here you need to find the schedule for the express bus towards Peniche and buy tickets to Praia da Areia Branca {approx. 9€}. This trips takes about 50 minutes).
If your option is renting a Car, please let us know so that we can provide full driving directions on how to get to Praia da Areia Branca.
Your other option is a Taxi, which we can organize to have pick you up from the airport. This costs between 90€ to 120€ a one way trip.

Driving Instructions:
1 - If you collect your car rental compound within the airport you have to turn right from the car hire exit. This road quickly forks with an access road on the right up to Departures. Take the left fork into the tunnel, stay in one of the right-hand lanes and you will then come down to a roundabout. At the roundabout go all the way round and take the last exit on the right. Follow signs A1 Norte / A8 Oeste and A12 Sul. If you miss it take the next exit which takes you back into the airport and start again.
2 - From here you will merge with traffic and keep going straight for the A1/A8.
3 - Follow the signs for “A8 / Outras Destinos”. The road will incline to the left and become a fly over and curve round to the left.
4 - The road joins a large motorway (the airport is now on your left and you will see the landing light gantries on the left and right) stay on as it leads you into a tunnel. Get into the right hand lane as you enter the tunnel and follow signs for A8 Oeste.
5 - Once out of the tunnel you drop down hill and join the A8 on your left. The signs will be saying Torres Vedras / Leiria / Malveira / Lourinha.
6 - You will see the Ikea & Loures Shopping center on your right and then you come to the first set of tolls. Use any lane other than Via Verde, press the button and collect a ticket. The toll is 2.60€ (May 2010). Failure to take a ticket will mean you have to pay the toll for the entire length of the motor-way.
7 - Once on the A8 you stay on this road for about 30 minutes, approximately 50 kms. Get off of highway at exit 11 / Lourinha. Pay toll.
8 - After toll, continue and take left at intersection towards Lourinha. Continue on this road for about 10 minutes.
9 - Once in Lourinha, follow through all roundabout on main road and continue towards Praia da Areia Branca. Approximatley 3 kms from Lourinha.
10 - Take a left turn into Praia da Areia Branca. At roundabout take first right up hill. Take second right turn following road (opened fields on the right hand side), and take next right exit.
11 - Park car here, the apartment building is on the left hand side.
